      Hi everyone, Alan here
    • 00:00:09
Welcome to Moby first white label
    • 00:00:12
In this video we're going to cover setting up your white label platform in GoDaddy and how to get your free SSL certificate once your platform is set up correctly
    • 00:00:25
In this video you'll see how fast and how easy it is to get your business platform set up
    • 00:00:35
So the first thing you want to do is log into your white label account which is where we're at here
    • 00:00:42
This is my GoDaddy platform test site
    • 00:00:46
      Next click on my platform
    • 00:00:52
General and domains and here is your platform default domain
    • 00:01:00
This is the only thing you have to worry about when setting up your platform
    • 00:01:06
Next I need you to log in to GoDaddy
    • 00:01:10
You're logged in here to GoDaddy
    • 00:01:14
      Go to my domains
    • 00:01:16
Find the domain that you're planning on using for your platform
    • 00:01:23
      Open it
    • 00:01:26
Manage the DNS and here you have a blank DNS record
    • 00:01:35
The only thing that you have to worry about is this line right here
    • 00:01:43
      Nothing else
    • 00:01:44
So go back to your Moby first
    • 00:01:48
      Highlight this
    • 00:01:51
      Copy it
    • 00:01:53
      Go back to GoDaddy
    • 00:01:57
Click on the pencil where it says points to highlight the at sign
    • 00:02:06
Paste in your platform URL and over here where it says www
    • 00:02:16
You change that to member or platform, student, user, whatever you want
    • 00:02:22
I'm going to change mine to member and then I'm going to save it
    • 00:02:28
I have now set up my platform in GoDaddy
    • 00:02:37
      Okay
    • 00:02:37
Now that you're back in the customize your platform section, you have to get your platform URL set up
    • 00:02:47
So the first thing you have to do is put in member
    • 00:02:50
Remember, member is what you put in over here
    • 00:02:57
If it wasn't member, if it was student or whatever, make sure that's the first thing that goes in here
    • 00:03:05
The next thing is the domain name, which is right here
    • 00:03:12
And I usually just copy it, put it over here and paste it
    • 00:03:18
And I now have my member and my domain
    • 00:03:23
I go down and I save it
    • 00:03:27
Now, generally, this can take upwards of 30 to 40 minutes for this to propagate
    • 00:03:35
Basically, what I'm saying is that once you've done this, you need to wait
    • 00:03:42
Since I've already done this for test applications, I'm going to show you what it's going to look like over here
    • 00:03:52
      Boom
    • 00:03:53
      There it is
    • 00:03:55
This is what your site will look like after it's propagated
    • 00:03:59
Once you're able to see this, come back in here and now it's time to sign up for your free SSL
    • 00:04:10
This text here will not be there
    • 00:04:15
It's there because I had as I was testing out the system
    • 00:04:21
I had to go through the steps
    • 00:04:25
So here is what you do
    • 00:04:27
You click here to pay now
    • 00:04:30
      See that? You click proceed
    • 00:04:33
And when you get here, if this says zero, you can go ahead and continue to proceed with the payment
    • 00:04:43
If it shows $39, do not proceed with the payment
    • 00:04:50
Back out, log out and send the support ticket to set up your platform URL and tech support will install that for you as soon as they can
    • 00:05:08
And you have now completed your platforms SSL's purchase and setting up your platform SSL for your users
    • 00:05:24
      Thank you
    • 00:05:26
      Have a great day
