In this video, I'm going to discuss the product widget

The product widget is an easy and effective way of adding a single product onto your site that users can purchase with the click of a button

This is different from the digital product widget, which is designed for digital products

The regular product widget is designed for physical or other products that users can purchase

I have a simple demonstration site set up with just the product widget, and you can see when we open that up, it'll show you what you can input

When you create the product widget, you can create a SKU for that individual product

This is used to identify this particular product in an inventory, and you can put whatever you'd like here

The price will determine the cost of the product, and the original price will specify a price that is shown as crossed out, as you can see here on the right display

It looks like it's on sale, and you can use this to show a discounted price

You can add a shipping cost if you'd like, and you can determine the max viable quantities

The options and choices for this product allow you to create specific choices, such as size, color, or flavor, or any other variation that you can think of, and then specify those options with that variation

For example, I created a size option, and this allows us to create choices within that, that you can name whatever you want, in which case small, medium, and large, and you can specify a separate SKU

You can do so by clicking the Add a New option, and this will let you add new options, or you can add choices within that option by clicking the plus sign below

As you can see here on the right, we have our options small and medium and large

You can even increase the price, if you'd like, by adding an increase in price here

The related products will show if you have other products on a website, you can connect them with related products

You can set your title and your text right here, and then you can even upload images by browsing and uploading from your computer, or by dragging and dropping an uploading image

The tags below are used for visitors to search for specific items by tag

Don't forget, once you've added all the information to the product, I'll always remember to save an update, and this will add that product to your website

In order for users to actually be able to purchase the product, you do need to enable e -commerce, which can be done by going to the e -commerce tab

And the first e -commerce section will allow you to enable e -commerce by switching on the toggle switch
