00:00:00In this video, I'm going to be discussing the List Widget
-
00:00:04The List Widget is a simple and easy way to display multiple elements in a list that can be scrolled between the different elements
-
00:00:13As you can see on the example on the right, we have the List Widget title here and then we have multiple elements in this list
-
00:00:21You can look up and down
-
00:00:23If you click on one of the items in the list, it'll tell you about that individual item and open it up and then you can then scroll between the individual list items
-
00:00:33The List Widget is an easy and simple way to visually display items like this in a nice, mobile -friendly manner
-
00:00:43It's very simple to use
-
00:00:45Simply input your title at the top and your subtitle, just like most other widgets
-
00:00:50The List items is where you would put your items and add your content
-
00:00:54Very similar to a content block, we'll do that shortly
-
00:00:57The search and page tab lets you control the search forms and how pages and tabs are managed
-
00:01:06You can add a search form which will let users search for items on that list
-
00:01:10You can determine how many items per page and how those pages are arranged
-
00:01:14We also have Style and Layout which lets you control how it looks on mobile versus on desktop
-
00:01:21We also have Comments which lets you enable Comments so that users can add a comment to that particular list item
-
00:01:30We also have the additional options that let you control the mobile and desktop versions and additional style, just like other widgets that let you control margins and the background
-
00:01:40As far as the list items itself, creating an item is very simple
-
00:01:44Simply click add a new item to the list or you can edit an existing item by clicking on it
-
00:01:50It will then open that item and you can see similar to a content block
-
00:01:54You can add your content, your title, text as well as schedule so that if you want an item to be published after the fact you can do that
-
00:02:05You can add images and videos, adding multiple images will let you create a slider that you can position between and you can add buttons just like content blocks and the buttons widget
-
00:02:18Please watch the buttons widget video in order to see more about how buttons work
-
00:02:23When it comes to tags, you can create tags so that users can then select tags and browse the lists using tags
-
00:02:32You can also add an author and date such as your name and info if you would like here
-
00:02:37You can even add an event and the calendar button so that users can save specific events for certain dates and times
-
00:02:44If you want to add a location or a map, simply type in an address here and this will add a location that users can then use their GPS to pull up that specific address and you
-
00:02:55can even attach small items by dragging and dropping the items into the box or by browsing and using your items
-
00:03:07If you want to edit the SEO, open graph and the meta information, you can do so here
-
00:03:13Simply input your meta information below and we also have similar and near items which will let you choose items that are similar so that when users are looking at that particular item in the list, they
-
00:03:25will also see the similar items that you have chosen and just like the previous section, you can enable comments for individual list items as well as the entire widget
-
00:03:36Once you have edited and finished adding all of the content to your list item, always remember to save an update and that will then add an update that particular list item and you can then go
-
00:03:51back to the main list widget and then move on to your next item and it's just that simple to use the list widget
