Hello and welcome to our third training video in our reseller training platform series

In this video I'm going to be discussing managing products and how those work alongside plans

In the previous video we discussed creating plans and the different modules and limitations of those plans

As you remember we created this test plan too and we gave them the site maker the PWA proposals CRM and invoice with a trial of 30 days and after which they have to pay $20 per

So anybody that signs up to this plan will be able to access these modules for 30 days free and then have to sign up for this amount per month

But let's say that I have users that want some additional tools but they don't want to switch plans completely and you don't want to have to modify plans just for a certain amount of users

Well that's where products would come in handy

Products will let you create items that users can purchase and add on to their plan that will unlock additional access depending on those products

The manage products button is in the top right of the plans and products page so simply click manage products and then here you can see and create new products

We have no products currently so let's go ahead and create one by clicking the create a new product button

What this does is this takes us to that product creation page

This is where you would fill out the name description of your product the price and you can activate it on specific plans if you want and even add a sales page

Now if you know exactly what type of product you want to create you can just go down the list here fill out the information and then save the product

You can explore the different products available in this bottom section here the items included and what this does is this will show you a drop -down of the different modules that we have available

So in the site maker widgets these are all the widgets that you have available so if you want to make a plan with only some widgets available and sell the other widgets separately you can do

We also have the templates that you can sell separately and the different platform modules and the parameters for those platforms

So in the previous plan that we made we gave access to the website creator along with some other tools such as you know the proposals invoices and CRMs but we didn't give them the earnings calculator

which is a neat fun little tool to do some calculations

So if we want to give users access to this earnings calculator but we don't want to add it to the plan so everybody has access to it we can create it as a separate product

So you simply select the item you wish to add and then click add these items to the product

You can add multiple items to a product if you'd like and then you simply fill out the extra information

So this is the earnings calculator and I want to set this let's say for only two dollars a month because this is kind of a small product and I don't want to charge too much for

So I want to set this at two dollars a month

You would fill out any you know description you'd like here and then you'd enter your long description here then you fill out your pricing here

You don't have to add a sales page you can you can do so if you have an external URL where they can purchase a product but all of our products are built into the platform so

that's not necessary unless you have an external URL you would like to push it to

Once you have added your product and set the price you want to then save that product and that will save that product

Now before we get to detailed and into things let's create another product just for another example

What we're actually going to do is the exact same thing

Let's make another earnings calculator but we're going to switch it up a bit

So we're going to add another earnings calculator to another product so that it's just an earnings calculator but instead of charging two dollars a month let's charge twenty dollars one time and then save this

Now we have two products and what this does is this gives users a choice

Whenever a user signs up for this test plan two they will have access to the site maker the PWA the proposals the CRM and the invoices automatically included in the plan but they won't have the

They will be able to upgrade to the earnings calculator and they will see it in their platform

When they click the earnings calculator they will be presented with a choice because we have two products with that earnings calculator

One for two dollars a month indefinitely or one for twenty dollars one time

This gives the users a choice in how they want to unlock their products or how they want to pay and it gives you a choice in how you wish to sell your products and gives you

a lot more variety in the way you can do things

So this might seem a bit overwhelming at first but I promise once you create a few test plans and a few test products and make some users to log in and see how those products and

plans actually work in the platform

This will all start to make a lot of sense and it's actually very easy and fast to create plans and products once you understand how it works
