00:00:01In this video, I'm going to discuss the thumbnails widget
-
00:00:04The thumbnails widget is an easy and effective way of organizing multiple images and a nice grid that can be viewed from the thumbnails and can then be opened and expanded to view more images
-
00:00:19It's very easy to use
-
00:00:22When you first create your thumbnails widget, you want to add your main title and your subtitle
-
00:00:27This will appear above the images
-
00:00:30The list of elements is where you would add your images
-
00:00:34Simply click, add a new element to add an image
-
00:00:38Then you can control the amount of columns it takes up on mobile or on desktop
-
00:00:42Just determine how it looks
-
00:00:44When you add a new element, you'll be able to add a single image to that element
-
00:00:50You can only add one image per element
-
00:00:52You can browse the computer to upload your image or drag and drop onto this box in order to upload
-
00:00:59Then you can add a filter if you so choose
-
00:01:03Add some texts as well, such as a main title and a subtitle
-
00:01:08And you can schedule this to be published at a later date so that the image is not visible unless it's published
-
00:01:14You can add tags which are used for searching
-
00:01:17So if multiple images have the same tag, they can be linked together and searched for a lot easier
-
00:01:23And the SEO and open graph, this is used for the search engine optimization, which if you're familiar with, you can add that information here
-
00:01:33The similar and nearby items, this is used for other similar widgets or items that you can link to
-
00:01:42If you have an applicable widget or item, it'll appear in this box and you can link to that
-
00:01:46And you can always turn on comments by enabling comments in this box here
-
00:01:52Now it's important, after you've added your image, you want to make sure that you save an update and this will add that image to that item in that thumbnail
-
00:02:06Then you want to go back to the thumbnail, either by clicking on the back to this widget button at the bottom or you can go to the thumbnails widget at the top here in order to
-
00:02:19browse and go backwards
-
00:02:21And then simply add a new element in order to upload your next image for the thumbnails widget and that will show up once you upload that
-
00:02:32And that's how easy it is to use the thumbnails widget
