So here's what's included, how the beginner top rope climbing course works and what you can expect

You need to make your own way to the bunker by bike or taxi

If you need us to arrange a taxi for you to come to the bunker, we can help arrange your pickup, but you will pay the driver directly, taxis usually charge 200 baht

Your transportation from the bunker up to our beautiful climbing spot on top of a hill 10 minutes away will be taken care by us

We will provide you with one one liter stainless steel bottle of water for your trip

We suggest you wear something comfortable to climb in, bring mosquito repellent just in case and wear shoes or good sandals for the short hike up

Now here's how it will go on the day of your climbing course

Please arrive at the bunker climbing gym no later than 15 minutes before the time you book for

When you arrive, you will fill in the necessary waiver and indefinity form if you haven't yet

Our instructor guide will greet you and provide you equipment that fits you well

The course will begin when everyone has shown up

First, our instructor will teach you all the essential knowledge and skills on how to safely use the climbing equipment you'll be using

You will learn how to correctly and safely tie the climbing knots

You will learn how to belay another climber who is climbing

00:02:52

You will learn the basics of climbing movement to help you reach the tops of the climbs you do

And last but not least, you'll learn how to position your body so you can be lowered off safely and comfortably after reaching the tops of climbs

All this instruction will be done within the safe and comfortable environment of our climbing gym to ensure you feel safe and comfortable and are able to learn and remember quicker

Total time for instructions gym could take between 15 to 30 minutes depending on how many people are in the group

Then you'll be taken up to our climbing spot

There, you will climb and practice what you learned on real rock and this is where the fun and excitement really begins

You will do a few climbs starting from the easiest one we have

The total time you will be up at our climbing spot will be about three and a half hours

The number of climbs you will do depends on how long your strength and skin on your fingertips last and of course how quickly you can get comfortable on the rock

Once you're done challenging yourself and experiencing the excitement of climbing Total Grand Night, you'll be taken back to the bumper where you will do a debrief
