In this video, I'm going to discuss the header widget

The header widget is a useful way of displaying content at the very top of a website

In fact, that's what separates the header widget from many other widgets such as the content block, is that the header widget will always display at the very top of a website regardless of where the widget

So, when you create a header, always know that this will always be the top most widget that people will see

And this is often used to create the top of a website and the first widget you will likely want to start with when you're creating your site

When you create your header, it's just like most other widgets such as a content block

You have your main options at the top and you can control the height on the desktop versus the mobile and you can even set your backgrounds

So, if you want an image or even a solid color or other effects or even a video, you can change that background right here

If you're doing an image, simply upload the image by dragging and dropping or by browsing and uploading the image from your computer

You can then put your title, subtitle and text right here

As you can see, we have a subtitle

And then we even have images which you can upload for the actual header

Separate from the background images, the standard images will be on top of the background and you can upload as many images as you would like

Simply drag and drop or browse and upload from your computer

When you upload the image, you can control the settings such as where that image is aligned

Also, the space that it takes up and you can even add filters for Instagram like effects

If you wish to add a video, you can do so here by pasting the video URL such as from YouTube, Vimeo or Facebook

And if you add multiple images, you can control the slider effects right here

Once you've added any images, you can also add buttons as well

Simply click add a new button and this will let you create a button on that header

And you even have standard width alignment and animations for the widget as well

Not to mention additional options which most other widgets have, which will let you control whether this is displayed on mobile only or desktop only

Once you have added all of your content to the header, remember to save and update when you are complete

This will update your website and update that header as well, which you should see at the very top of that page
