00:00:00In this tutorial, I'm going to be going over the map widget
-
00:00:03The map can be used to easily input an address and add a desktop and mobile responsive map directly to your site
-
00:00:11Users can then click on that map and find your location through GPS or whatever app they have
-
00:00:17To create a map, simply add a widget and map is located near the center of the widget page
-
00:00:23Once you create a map, you can add titles and text here, but I've already created a header to serve as that purpose
-
00:00:32You would simply type in your address in this form here
-
00:00:37Once you've typed in your address and saved that, it's going to create a button and a map
-
00:00:42You can see there's a button there and there's the map there
-
00:00:45You can hide that button by flipping this switch right here
-
00:00:51Once you flip that and turn that to off, that's going to hide that button and show just the map instead
-
00:00:57You can adjust the height and pixels as far as desktop versus mobile right over here
-
00:01:04If you leave that to zero, it'll be default and additional options and additional styles are the same as pretty much all the other widgets
-
00:01:12You can require users to be logged in before they can view the map right here or set the mobile only or desktop only
-
00:01:24And you can determine how much space it takes up on the desktop right over here as well as the margins
-
00:01:37And if you know any CSS, you can add custom classes
-
00:01:42The background is right over here
-
00:01:44You can add solid colors, images, even videos if you want
-
00:01:49So if you just want to make it a nice basic gray background
-
00:01:53And when you save that, you can see this map now has a background
-
00:01:58And then you can also do custom animations as well right over here
-
00:02:04The map is very easy to use
-
00:02:06To simply input your address and you're all good to go, have a great day
